Kitchen Remodel – Before & After in Efland, NC | BuildRite LLC New Week, New Project For this project, we reimagined a standard rectangular kitchen with builder-grade height ceilings and turned it into a bright, sophisticated space tailored to our client’s vision. The “before” and “after” photos tell the story best—but here’s a breakdown of the work that went into this transformation. Scope of Work Removal of existing cabinetry and countertops Installation of white shaker-style cabinets New quartzite countertops with refinished wood top accents Restoration of existing hardwood flooring Installation of new lighting and modern appliances Full plumbing and electrical updates, including faucet and sink hookups We pride ourselves on craftsmanship and detail. All cabinetry boxes were built using ½” plywood, with the following features: Material & Construction Details Door Hinges: DTA 6-way adjustable, soft-close Shelves: ¾” adjustable plywood Finish: Lacquer paint with two primer coats and a satin finish Interiors: Natural wood finish Base Cabinets: ¾” block and 3” plywood stretchers Face Frames: 1.5” solid wood rails and stiles Doors: Full overlay, 5-piece solid wood (2.5” wide center frame) Drawers: 5-piece construction with solid center panels Toe Kicks: TK skins Certifications: CARB compliant, TSCA Title VI certified Note: Minor seam lines or cracking at stile and rail joints are natural characteristics of painted finishes and not considered defects.
