Recently, we had the opportunity of undertaking a kitchen remodel for a homeowner who wanted to breathe new life into their outdated space. This project was rewarding, and we’re excited to share all of the details of this transformation.
The Main Challenge: Out with the Old. In with the New.
The existing kitchen was functional but lacked modern style and efficient storage. The cabinetry, which had served its purpose for years, was outdated and showed signs of wear. Our client envisioned a sleek, contemporary kitchen with enhanced storage and a fresh aesthetic. The first step in the remodel was to remove the old cabinets. Demolition can be a messy process, but our experienced team ensured it was carried out smoothly, minimizing disruption to the rest of the home. We know best how important comfort is, even when remodelling. With the old cabinets out of the way, the space was ready for a complete makeover.
Once the demolition was over, it was time to install the new cabinetry. The client opted for custom cabinets designed to maximize space and add a touch of elegance. We mainly focused on the Kitchen Cabinets/Dry Bar part. For these, the owner opted for the color Shaker Sand and we used 36″wall cabinets with 15″ glass doors.The new cabinets featured soft-close doors and drawers, which not only provide a high-end feel but also ensure longevity.
The installation process was a success, as always. Our great team made sure that every cabinet was perfectly aligned, securely mounted, and well integrated with the existing plumbing and electrical systems. We paid close attention to the details, such as matching the cabinet finishes with the new countertops and backsplash, creating a cohesive look. The full overlay doors provide a seamless aesthetic for our customer and the soft-close doors and drawers prevent any slamming for happening for a quiet and peaceful space.
We installed durable wood cabinets, to be more detailed, 3/4″ Plywood box and drawers. We also included in this remodel the Premium Sherwin-Williams® finish, which delivers a lifetime of beauty and elegance. And above all of this, as requested, we did a full floor wood restoration, which really brings everything together. In this particular case, we took care of the removal of soffit and the lights, we added brand new tile splashes along with new quartzite tops.
The transformation was nothing short of perfect. The new cabinets brought the kitchen to life with their modern design and increased functionality. The once cluttered and dated kitchen is now a bright, welcoming space that meets our client’s needs and exceeds their expectations.
Not only did the remodel enhance the aesthetic of the kitchen, but it also significantly improved the storage options and the overall feel of the home.
