In case you are new around here, our experts and crew at BuildRiteLLC just completed a new project that involved the remodelling of a bathroom for one of our clients. Our innovative crew did a great job at working with the space available and also with the prefrences of our clients. See the before photo of the bathroom below.
It’s pretty unbelievable to see the difference in the shower/toilet area. We think it really goes to show that if you have the vision we can make your bathroom a dream come true!
Below is the before photo of the exact same space. We replaced the tiles with a beautiful white marble in order to make the space feel way more open and to give the new bathroom a new, clean, classy and glamorous.
It made a huge difference and eliminated the feeling of a cramped space.
We are pretty sure everyone else loves white walls in bathrooms as much as we do and the clean, spa-like atmosphere they create.
White marble is a fantastic material for bathrooms. This beautiful stone is naturally water-resistant and adds a luxurious, elegant feel to any space. Marble has been used for construction for millennia; the Romans had public baths made of it!
Marble is appropriate for many decor styles: contemporary, traditional, modern, classic, and many more.
Using marble in the bathroom has two important caveats: you need to seal it, and you need to watch out for slip resistance. A lot of marble finishes have low slip resistance, which makes them dangerous in potentially wet spaces like bathrooms. To counter this problem, use a finish with higher slip resistance, or add rugs in high-traffic areas.
