Underfloor heating, also called radiant heating, is a luxurious feature of the house and a popular trend in new homes as well as in renovations, which focuses on a clean, comfortable, design-based life. This blog discusses the benefits of underfloor heating.
Advantages at a glance:

1.The advantages of underfloor heating.

Electric underfloor heating ensures heating in a room starting from the floor, for a consistent and efficient heat.
Traditional radiators must be heated to a high temperature (between 65-75 ºC) to heat a room efficiently, while electric underfloor heating must only operate at a temperature of 29 ° C or less, depending on of the floor finish, to heat the room – thus consuming less energy and keeping energy bills much lower.
In addition, the radiators first heat the air closest to them, so the rooms heated by the radiators are prone to “cold areas”, which means that the air feels cold in the middle of the room and very hot next to the radiators. This usually results in a window opening above the radiator to bring in fresh air, leaving all the heat out of the window. Radiant heating ensures heat from the floor throughout the room, without cold areas or overheating.
In conclusion, unlike traditional radiators, which can make a room feel cold and sometimes too hot, underfloor heating does not overheat. Instead, it reaches the desired temperature using a thermostat on the wall.

2. Radiant Heating

Radiant heating offers an average saving of 15% on energy.

Once installed, underfloor heating requires virtually no maintenance and comes with a lifetime warranty. Warm up heating controllers will ensure that the system works in the most efficient way. It can work either automatically, with the help of a smart WiFi thermostat, or with a programmable thermostat. The thermostat can be programmed to ensure heating at certain times, offering the option of shutting down nightly.
In the case of underfloor heating, users can enjoy the entire room without radiators on the walls. Even the most modern radiators take up space, so imagine the design freedom available with heated floors. The walls can be freely decorated to achieve a minimalist look, regardless of style and without planning around the radiators.

3. Works with all types of flooring.
Underfloor heating offers the freedom to design a house, making the most of wall and floor space. And users are still free to choose the type of floor they want. It works well with: laminate, wood, ceramic tiles, stone, carpets and more.

4. Safety and comfort.
Underfloor heating means less worry about the sharp edges or hot surfaces of radiators when younger family members are in the house. The heating system is locked and will not become too hot to the touch.
Radiant heating is also much better for air quality in a room. Radiant heating keeps the air fresh and rich in oxygen. On the other hand, high temperatures caused by radiators increase discomfort and reduce oxygen levels. The thermal circulation that rises to the ceiling and back, brings the dust in circles, a situation that will not happen with an underfloor heating system.

5. Easy to install
Is easy to install. Especially if it is part of a new construction or renovation project. . In addition, there is even an additional advantage of cleaning, because keeping the rooms dust-free is easier, without the corners and battlements of the radiators.

DENISE DUFY

Buildrite install new quartzite countertops and refinished the large butcher block island in my kitchen. All of the work was beautiful done and I am very happy with the results. The crew took the time they needed to do rights right, instead of rushing through. They were extremely neat in their work and left the place immaculate every evening before leaving. They stayed within the budget of the original price quote. They were easy to communicate with and very pleasant to work with. I would definitely hire them again for another project.

We won’t have any problem recommending them to our friends and acquaintances who are contemplating any renovations. Thanks guys!

TOM WERK

My family and I had a very positive experience working with Daniel and his company, Buildrite LLC. We had a unique and very challenging situation in which our entire backyard pool deck had to be redone; this required removing all the stonework, hand digging out the sand and gravel foundation, cleaning the stonework, pouring a concrete slab foundation and meticulously re-placing and then sealing the stonework. ..
