Step 1: Pre-Installation Assessment
Before beginning the installation, our team inspected the framing, verified true square openings, and confirmed proper waterproofing preparation. This ensures every window sits correctly, seals properly, and performs as designed for decades.
Step 2: Secure Structural Mounting with Steel Brackets

Our European-style installation uses load-bearing steel mounting brackets rather than face-screwing through the frame.

Step 3: Airtight & Insulated Perimeter Sealing

We fill the perimeter with high-density European closed-cell insulating foam, which:

This foam expands uniformly, ensuring the full cavity is sealed without distorting the frame — a key step in passive-house style installations.
Step 4: Exterior Sealing With WindowWrap™ Tape

Our final step is applying WindowWrap high-performance sealing tape around the exterior perimeter.
This forms a durable weather-tight seal that is:
• Windproof
• Waterproof
• Vapor-controlled
• UV-stable
Combined with the foam layer, the tape creates an endothermic barrier that significantly improves the building’s overall energy performance.

Installing premium European windows is more than just placing a frame into an opening — it’s a process built on precision, insulation, and long-term performance. The process begins with proper framing inspection and preparation. Before a single screw is installed, we verify square openings, waterproofing layers, and structural integrity. This step is critical because even the most advanced window can underperform if it isn’t installed perfectly.
Once the opening is ready, we mount the window using structural steel brackets, a superior method compared to traditional screw-through-frame installations.
